Honey Pot   Bengal Silversmith Silver and ebonised wood   First quarter of the twentieth century   H.23 cm, W.15.5 cm, D.15.5cm   This unusual honey pot is in the shape of a Bengal hut which stands on a stepped ebonised base. The first pediment of the base has silver plaques representing rural Bengal. The Honey Pot is on a rush mat which rests on a bamboo platform supported by four brick pillars.
